What We Collect

When you apply to join our network, contact us, or subscribe to our newsletter, we may collect information such as your name, email, phone number, country, professional background, and — if voluntarily provided — your CV or a link to your published work.

When You Donate

Your information is collected by a reputable, secure third-party payment provider (such as PayPal) for the purpose of processing your gift and maintaining financial transparency and accountability. PEN AF never has access to your banking or card details, at any point.

How We Use It

We use this information to process applications, respond to inquiries, send updates you’ve opted into, process donations and issue receipts, and maintain internal records for program and organizational reporting.

Sharing

We share information only with service providers who help us operate — such as our website host and email platform — and only as needed for them to perform that service. We do not sell personal information.

Public Recognition

We only list a member’s name publicly, on our website or network materials, with their explicit consent, collected at the time of application.

Your Choices

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your information at any time, and may unsubscribe from our newsletter using the link in any email. To make a request, contact info@penaf.org.

Children’s Privacy

Our programs are intended for professionals and adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Security

We take reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect your information and continually work to keep it safe.

Updates

We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or applicable law.
