Professionals and Experts Network for Afghanistan (PEN AF) is a U.S.-registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit connecting Afghan professionals, academics, and specialists across the diaspora and inside Afghanistan into one coordinated network of expertise.
Decades of displacement have scattered an extraordinary generation of Afghan talent across the globe. That expertise has not disappeared. But it has simply lost its channel back to the communities and institutions that need it most.
PEN AF exists to rebuild that channel, strengthening a connected network of Afghan expertise through nonpartisan research and policy work, capacity-building programs, and free or subsidized professional services for underserved Afghan communities. Rebuilt, it turns scattered expertise into Afghanistan's greatest strategic asset.
