Advisory Board Member Annie Pforzheimer Co-Authors CNAS Report on Inclusive Political Dialogue in Afghanistan

Ms. Annie Pforzheimer, member of PEN AF's Advisory Board and Adjunct Senior Fellow at the Center for a New American Security (CNAS), has co-authored with Lisa Curtis a new CNAS report, "An Uphill Climb: Pushing for Inclusive Political Dialogue in Afghanistan."

Five years after the events of August 2021, the report makes the evidence-based case for an inclusive political dialogue on Afghanistan, one that centers women, youth and others who have been systematically excluded, and sets out a clear path forward for the international community.
